The Balladeer project continues on track thanks to the 67 children who have visited us in recent months.
Lucentia’s #Balladeer project, which aims to diagnose and treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (#ADHD), has reached a significant milestone by successfully completing 67 tests with minors between the ages of 6 and 18 by its dedicated #laboratory.
It was during the past week that 60 tests were surpassed. In fact, it is expected that by the end of this month 70 #children and #teens will have already passed through our lab located at the University Institute for Research in Informatics (IUII) of the University of Alicante.
Balladeer focuses on laying the groundwork for future interventions in person-centered #intelligent #extendedreality #intelligent #environments. Its main focus lies in the study of brain activity and its evolution, using a platform that combines #BigData and #ArtificialIntelligence (AI) analysis.
During the tests conducted, participating children are subjected to a series of activities designed in #videogame format to assess their cognitive and emotional performance. Using advanced neuroscience techniques, data on participants’ brain activity is collected through #EEG, #eyetracking and #augmentedreality and #virtualreality goggles. This data is then analyzed using AI algorithms to identify relevant neural patterns and connections.
The Balladeer project (PROMETEO/2021/088) is funded, within the Prometeo program, by the Conselleria de Innovación, Universidades, Ciencia y Sociedad Digital de la Generalitat Valenciana.
